What I found interesting about the book The curious incident of the dog on the nightime

What I found the most interesting

I find this book very interesting mainly because that the main person is suffering of the syndrome called Asperger’s syndrome which is an illness that weakens your confidence when gathering or being with others. The author, Mark Haddon, explains how a person’s life is when having Asperger’s syndrome through the whole book and takes it in a form of an adventure for Christopher which is the main person in this book. We see different samples of how he stands out from other people when the syndrome hits him. One example is when the policeman arrives and asks him questions about the incident that just occurred. Christopher responds by saying nothing at first because he doesn’t know how to answer him. This is one clear example of how it is to have Asperger’s syndrome. Also later, when the policeman attacks him with difficult questions in a too short circumstance of time, Christopher lays down to the ground and makes a kind of groaning noise that would by most people be understood as “enough asking, please”. But does the policeman care about this? No! He doesn’t give a blank butt about how Christopher responds and just continues with the asking.
I personally learnt a lot about Asperger’s syndrome when reading this book. I admit that I didn’t know anything about the syndrome until this book showed up. I think it’s an absolutely great example and lesson to learn about the Asperger’s syndrome because it’s also an exciting story. Of course you can look it up on Wikipedia what the syndrome is but I would highly recommend reading this because you will understand the twice amount of how it is to have the syndrome and what different challenges you stand upon and how you deal with them.
